Her academic background is in Political Science and Public Administration with a focus on Nonprofit Management. Mylinda has a passion for sickle cell education because she and her husband carry the trait and they have a daughter with Sickle Cell SS. In her free time, Mylinda offers peer to peer support to mothers of children with sickle cell disease.
